One Year Anniversary
Panhandle Microgreens is one year old today!
A lot has changed over this first year of growing microgreens. In the beginning, I knew that it would be a long journey of discovery and learning. Learning that encompassed not only growing microgreens but learning about business, marketing, website building, and so many more small things that are necessary for a small business to grow. I am happy to say that I have grown many more things this year than just microgreens. I have started a business account with a bank which has allowed me to now accept credit and debit cards in person. I can also accept payments via Paypal (which is what the website uses) and Venmo as well. I have found good customers in unlikely places and starting this Wednesday I will be starting a trial run of microgreens for the cafeteria of an institute of higher learning. That is very exciting indeed. I am also branching out to farmers markets where I can, such as the Golden Spread Farmers Market in Amarillo on Thursdays, and my own little flash market that I hold on Fridays in downtown Borger, and hopefully soon to restaurants. I am hopeful for the growth and learning that I will achieve this coming year and I hope to meet many more good customers.
Alright, ya’ll have a healthier tomorrow!
